     Xsjado NEW Black Mook frame
Skate product info, Releases etc..NOW IN STOCK!!! The long awaited NEW black Mook frame is to be released this week. We will shortly be receiving a very large order of them. Xsjado have released a video which shows the history of the Mook Frame's development from the early models which had problems with their strength to the vastly improved new Black Mook frame now being released.

This 7 minute video documentary shows what went wrong with many of the early ones and documents the re-development process through to the extensive testing of the new black mook which can take some serious battering ! Don't believe me ? Watch the video then ! Steve Ukskate

NEW online shop currently being installed
Other misc topicscybertill.co.uk logoWe have just invested in a whole new automated system to Run UKskate.com's Online shop, stock control and in shop till system (EPOS). This will go live very soon.

You will see some immeadiate improvements in the running of Ukskate.com's shop as a result.

  • Live stock system, meaning what you see online is actually in stock even if it's the last item, it will be yours and no-one else can buy it too.
  • Wider range of carriage options will be provided
  • Easier to find items you want with search options and product/manufacturer specific areas.
  • Gift voucher system, where parents can buy online gift vouchers for you to spend online or in the shop whenever you like.
  • Pre-order system for new high demand products
  • Online view of your order's progress and tracking info.
  • Improved online shop availability. Even if our main site is down, the shop will stay available as it's hosted separately
  • Better looking user interface for the shop.

If you have any ideas for anything else we could do to improve the online shop, please let us know using the comments section on this report or by emailing steve@ukskate.com
We will try to put the good ideas into the new system which should be live within the next few weeks.
    Steve

''Rollerblading is Easy'' Street comp 17th April
Comp info, Event Reports etcrollerblading is easy, street competition milton keynesRollerblading Is Easy, is a new street based competition created by Mike Hitches and San Kumar. It is basically a rollerblading competition but held on the streets instead of in a park.
The original street competition was IMYTA (I Match Your Trick Association). Since the first IMYTA a whole host of street competitions have evolved but the UK still lacks this new style of competition. I am not saying that there is no street competitions in the UK there just isn't as many as there is in places such as America and Canada. Obviously there are many styles of street competition, but the only two that come to mind are IMYTA and SYS (Show Your Shit).
IMYTA is in a battle format where each contender has to knock out there opponent/s and then the person with the most impressive trick at the end, wins the competition. SYS is in sort of a free skate format where contenders skate through out the day and the person who has skated with the most consistency and the most impressive tricks at the end of the event wins the competition.
Rollerblading Is Easy will be in an SYS format as it seems to be a much more accurate and fare way to judge who has been the best.

The first competition will be held in Milton Keynes bus station ledges at 12:00 on the 17th April 2004 and will initially be a test to see how popular this new competition will be. If all goes well then you should expect to see a lot more action from this new street based competition.
For more information on the times, rules, spots and other things regarding the competition please go to http://www.rollerbladingiseasy.tk/
